We’re thrilled to share the news that Siti’s best friend, Sudin, has returned to the forest after recovering from a serious illness. Of course, they instantly recognised each other and celebrated with plenty of joyful play.

Siti continues to do very well. She travels confidently through the forest, forages widely, and shows endless energy—leaping through thick lianas with Sudin close behind, again and again until they’re happily tired. The pair often spends time near Citrawan and her infant Canur. Siti is fascinated by the baby and sometimes tries to hold her; Citrawan is patient but protective, stepping in when needed.

These calm interactions give Siti the chance to observe gentle caregiving—valuable lessons she would have learned from her own mother and skills that will help her when she becomes a mum one day. Sudin usually watches with curiosity, taking everything in. Each evening, both Siti and Sudin return to their night enclosure for a good sleep while Sudin continues to rebuild his strength.
Thank you for your continued support in helping Siti grow in confidence and skill on her journey toward forest freedom.
