Because of your amazing support, precious Popi and Devi have made a HUGE step forward on their journeys back to the wild!
Popi is one of the most beloved members of our adoption family, arriving at our BORA rescue centre in 2017 at just eight weeks old. She had lost her mum and was scared, weak, and all alone. She needed round-the-clock care to survive.
Devi was rescued in 2021, after she was ripped from the forest and forced into a life of captivity. She was traumatised when she arrived to safety, scared of humans and missing her mum and her jungle home.
With your wonderful help, they have both been on the road to recovery.
Popi and Devi have been going to Jungle School, learning everything they need to survive on their own in the wild. And now, thanks to your support, they are finally ready to put those skills into action and begin their journey toward a life free and safe in the wild!
The Forest Awaits
Popi and Devi have just moved to a beautiful forested pre-release island. This is a massive milestone in their rehabilitation, bringing them both closer to their final release into the wild.

On the island, Popi and Devi will sharpen and perfect their jungle survival skills. They’ll master foraging for food, climbing high up in the canopy and building sturdy nests to sleep in. Life on the island will give them the chance to build confidence and physical fitness for life in their wild forest home.

Popi and Devi are already loving their new home. They quickly found fruit trees to snack on, and Popi happily followed her brave pal Devi as they explored the forest together.
